WILD DOGS - Reign Of Terror (Deluxe Edition)

SPECIAL OFFER: Limited edition (100) cover art magnet with purchase.

OVERVIEW: Portland’s WILD DOGS strategically decided to switch things up after two successful albums with popular indie metal label, Shrapnel Records. The first major change came with the recruitment of new vocalist, Michael Furlong, to fill the newly vacant front man position. His arrival brought with it an entirely new range and influence the band magnificently channeled into their compositions. Secondly, the band collectively decided to supercharge their ferocious musical tactics for what would become their magnum opus, Reign Of Terror, which helped to define and influence US Power Metal for years to come.

Originally released in 1987, Reign Of Terror was supposed to set the scene afire with its potent mixture of power metal and blazing thrash metal, but the timing couldn’t have been any worse. Their new label, Enigma Records, went belly up a few months after the album’s release and that was that. The band did continue on without label support playing shows when they could and even began work on a follow up album. However, music industry climate in the early 90s was not promising for metal acts and WILD DOGS decided to throw in the towel.

Divebomb Records is excited to present Reign Of Terror in this special deluxe edition reissue. The 20 page booklet contains band supplied archival photos and features full lyrics with brand new interview with Jeff Mark detailing the making of the album. This edition also contains 3 high quality pre-production demos including the never before released track, “Eat You Alive.” This is a reissue for the fans, by the fans.

OSIRIS - Futurity And Human Depressions (DCD-Deluxe Edition)

SPECIAL OFFER: Limited edition (100) logo magnet with purchase.

OVERVIEW: As the European metal scene headed into the 90s there was a noticeable shift towards death metal and in the Netherlands it was no different with acts like GOREFEST, PESTILENCE and ASPHYX all quickly gaining popularity across the continent. OSIRIS being a progressive thrash band not only in sound, but also spirit they choose a different route one with high pitched melodic vocals and complex, lengthy song arrangements.

With an average age of only 19 when recording their first demo OSIRIS were able to grab the attention of the European press who applauded their efforts for successfully channeling bands like WATCHTOWER, SIEGES EVEN and MEKONG DELTA. A second demo, Equivocal Quiescence, was released in early 1991 leading to their deal with Shark Records. Later in 1991, OSIRIS released their one and only album, Futurity And Human Depressions, a progressive whirlwind consisting of 7 songs and clocking in at nearly 55 minutes.

While never quite attaining the same level of popularity as their counterparts, OSIRIS’ Futurity And Human Depressions remains a much beloved album by progressive thrash fans still to this day. Divebomb Records is proud to present this new deluxe edition which features new mastering, both original demo tapes as well as band interview.

HOLOSADE - A Circle Of Silent Screams

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION: Following the release of their debut album Hell House in 1988, HOLOSADE ran into all sorts of member departures (Simon "Jack Hammer" Jones taking up rhythm guitar for SABBAT and Damien "Michael" Lee jumping behind the kit of Scarborough rockers LITTLE ANGELS). The future became so uncertain that in 1991 they eventually drifted into a hiatus.

Fast forward to 1994, Phillip de Sade (vocals) and Gary Thomas (guitar) decide to get together to record the last batch of songs the group had worked up before it's hiatus. Joining them once again was Simon Jones along with newer members Andy Barker (drums), Steve Wright (bass) and Fred Purser from Tygers of Pan Tang on the keyboards. This new and revamped HOLOSADE recorded 12 songs that was a perfect follow-up to Hell House, but the industry had changed and they couldn't find a label to support them or the release of A Circle Of Silent Screams. So, the recordings sat unreleased for 20 years, until now.

Divebomb Records is proud to present the first official release of HOLOSADE's sophomore album, A Circle Of Silent Screams. Sourced from the band's original DAT master and remastered by Jamie King, this album fulfills everything HOLOSADE fans have been yearning for and more.

PARADISE LOST (US) - Paradise Lost (Deluxe Edition)

SPECIAL OFFER: Limited edition (100) cover art magnet with purchase.

OVERVIEW: The country music mecca of Nashville, TN may seem an unlikely home for a progressive-edged hard rock quartet, but that didn't stop PARADISE LOST. Formed in late-1985 under the name Audience, the group's core shared a mixed bag of influences including Yes, Journey, The Police, Rush, and U2—not to mention gospel, jazz, and '70s and '80s pop.

The troupe rebranded itself PARADISE LOST within a few short years—a banner that vocalist Dave Privett cites as "a name with some mystery that still encapsulated some of the paradoxes in our music," and eventually secured a deal with major label imprint Gold Dust Records. The undeniably unique existential passion of PARADISE LOST's musical journey—heavy riffs with soaring melodies, hooks with complexity, and a heavy metal look with a philosophical twist—garnered favorable press locally and abroad; even scoring a 4K review from Kerrang!'s Dave Reynolds.

In addition to the band's unsung classic self-titled full-length from 1989, this reissue additionally compiles previously unreleased demos and live recordings spanning 1986-1990: PARADISE LOST’s ear-complete history in more than 30 tracks. This deluxe edition also contains a 28 page booklet with in-depth interview, album lyrics as well as archival photos and press clipping from the band’s vault. For the fans, by the fans.

ZEPHANIAH - Reforged

OVERVIEW: Reforged, the sophomore outing from Indiana's ZEPHANIAH, builds upon the power thrash foundation laid by their debut, 2008's Stories From The Book Of Metal, to unleash a catchier and more dynamic intensity—made possible through the refined musicianship of the group's new, markedly more diverse lineup.

Songs like "Reforged," "Destiny," and "Judgement" provide the infectious blasts of thrash for which ZEPHANIAH is known, alongside increasingly intense rhythms and shredding neoclassical influences. Highlights include a Mad Max-inspired trilogy; beer-drinking anthem "Battle Hymn Of The Victorious"; and progressive epic "Quest For The Royal Crown," which adds variety and enthralls the listener from start to finish.

Unlike Stories From The Book Of Metal, which was tracked in a mere week, the band spent more than a full year arduously self-producing every last detail of Reforged. Finally mixed by Tom Buechel and mastered by Death Dealer guitarist Stu Marshall in May of 2016, ZEPHANIAH is now prepared to deliver a raging, filler-free collection—in which no two songs are alike!

COMRADES IN ARMS: Gamma Ray, Bal-Sagoth, Iced Earth, Wintersun, Dragonforce

TRACK LIST

1. Reforged 2. Destiny 3. Mad Max 4. Road Warrior 5. Thunderdome 6. Quest For The Royal Crown

7. Judgement 8. Battle Hymn Of The Victorious

HAVE MERCY / NAPALM / POWERMAD - Bootcamp Origins

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION: Legendary metal label, Combat Records, began their Boot Camp series in the mid-80’s as an affordable way to test the market for newer bands of interest. Over twenty years later we at Divebomb Records, who were highly influenced by the original series, decided to pick up the torch and kick start our own brand of the Bootcamp Series.

Due to its overwhelming popularity the series has now reached its 25th release and we thought of no better way to celebrate this milestone than by reissuing the original Combat Records Boot Camp compilation CD featuring Maryland’s HAVE MERCY, New York’s NAPALM and Minnesota’s POWERMAD.

Loaded with band supplied photos, vintage magazine articles as well as new essay featuring excerpts of a discussion we had with Combat Boot Camp founder, Steve Sinclair, Bootcamp Origins is everything we ever hoped it would be and represents exactly what Divebomb Bootcamp hopes to achieve with each release.

COMRADES IN ARMS: Have Mercy, Napalm, Powermad and all things 80’s thrash metal

ARSENAL: Limited edition of 500 copies – new essay by Andrew Aversionline of NoEcho.net – archival photos and articles – 20 page booklet – Remastered by Jamie King

WÜLFHOOK: THE IMPALER

OVERVIEW: WULFHOOK, having formed in 2009, is a five piece American heavy metal band from Detroit, Michigan. They have impressively self-financed three remarkable demos including 2012’s stellar Sacrifice, which are the recordings that lead to their deal with Divebomb Records.

Their debut album, The Impaler, is a culmination of years of hard work and overcoming unforeseen adversities along the way. The end result, which was mixed by Jamie King at his Basement Studios, is nothing short of magnificent. The Impaler, simply put, is an unrelenting sonic attack that reveals a band that is completely unaffected by what’s popular or what other musicians are doing and is zeroed in on exactly what will make WULFHOOK stand out in the over-crowded underground scene. No tongue in cheek retro throwback, just straight up heavy metal.

COMRADES IN ARMS: Judas Priest, Malice, Grim Reaper, Powerlord, Metal Church

TRACK LIST

1. The Impaler 2. Brutal Nightmare 3. Through The Darkness 4. Bridge Burner 5. Samara’s Well

THE HORDE OF TORMENT - Distorted Recollections

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION: For years fans have demanded it and Divebomb Records is finally delivering it. As part of it's ongoing Bootcamp Series, the label will issue Distorted Recollections, a compilation from late 80s underground thrash masters THE HORDE OF TORMENT. Almost two years in the making, Distorted Recollections collects the Las Vegas band’s Product of a Sick Mind and Inherit the Sin demos, plus rare bonus tracks. If that weren’t already enough, Divebomb Records is also including Infected, the 1987 demo the group recorded when they were still going by the name Pestilence.

THE HORDE OF TORMENT had the songs, energy, and drive to succeed on a large scale, but despite all of the attention the band received from the heavy metal press of their era, they never locked down a record deal during their time together. In spite of this, fans have been trading the thrash crew’s demos in the over two decades since they broke up.

Distorted Recollections features new artwork by Steven Cobb based on the band’s original vision for their Product of a Sick Mind demo tape. This has been a passion project for Divebomb Records and the label is honored to work with the band on it. It’s about time a new army of metal listeners gets acquainted with the fury that was THE HORDE OF TORMENT and Distorted Recollections will make sure of that.

FINAL SIGN - HOLD HIGH THE FLAME

OVERVIEW: The musical partnership between vocalist Shawn Pelata and guitarist Brian "Hellstorm" Williams dates back to 1999, when Brian contacted Shawn with the hope of recruiting him to sing for a new project he was putting together. That short-lived endeavor became K-OCTAVE—yielding a single, highly praised album, Outer Limits, issued via Germany's Hellion Records in 2001.

Williams then continued with his main band, underground metal giants OCTOBER 31; while Pelata released two albums with melodic rock outfit LINE OF FIRE, as well as working with metalcore cultists KILLWHITNEYDEAD. The two kept in touch, vowing to one day work together again when the time was right.

That time, it seems, is now. An unstoppable riff machine (he's not called "Hellstorm" for nothing), Brian soon found himself with new players, and eight new songs in need of the right voice. He knew just who to call: Shawn was brought on board and—alongside Kevin Haverlah (drums) and Howard Baker (bass)—FINAL SIGN was born.

Divebomb Records is proud to present the debut album from FINAL SIGN, Hold High The Flame, upon the heavy metal faithful. It's a ravenous blend of US power metal, thrash and old school heavy metal—executed with unbridled anger and intensity!

AFTERMATH - Killing The Future

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION: Chicago's AFTERMATH are celebrating their 30th anniversary with the release of their now legendary demo Killing The Future. Creating so much buzz within the industry AFTERMATH were included as part of Metal Forces magazine's Demolition - Scream Your Brains Out LP release which showcased other upcoming (now quite notable) acts of the that time such as Anacrusis, Atrophy, Hobbs' Angel of Death and Leviathan. Though their eventual artistic evolution would steer them away from the neck-breaking speed of Killing The Future AFTERMATH are still held in high regard as one of the crossover champions of the era.

All audio was transferred from original 2 track master reels, a first, and remastered by Paul Logus. Cover art is a faithful recreation of the original Killing The Future cassette release.

EROTIKILL - Virgin Speed

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION: Arriving on the Los Angeles music scene in the late ‘80s, EROTIKILL was a band poised for success. As far as the succeeding in the industry was concerned, the band was doing everything right. Not only did they pound the pavement, they also had the glossy promo photos, 4 songs recorded by Joe Floyd and full color advertisements in all the best metal magazines. But something just never clicked for the group with record labels.

EROTIKILL’s debut was originally titled Seek the Virgin, but changed to Virgin Speed by the time the 8-song cassette was released in 1990. The band had finally delivered their unique brand of speed metal to the masses, albeit, independently. Unfortunately, the metal scene at that time was littered with horror stories of mismanagement, and EROTIKILL found themselves at the end of a losing deal as well. While out on tour supporting the release of Virgin Speed, the group found out that tour support was no longer coming, and that their management had walked with all of their money. It was a death blow very few bands survive, including EROTIKILL.

The limited edition Divebomb Records CD release contains the original 8 tracks contained on the Virgin Speed cassette (newly mastered from original digital sources), and as a bonus we have included an audio interview conducted with the band back in 1990.

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION: Hailing from the flourishing late 80's Texas metal scene OBSCENE JESTER were a hard working metal band who slugged it out all over the tri-state area always looking to expand their growing fanbase. However, while in the process of recording that full length album something within the OBSCENE JESTER camp went awry and sadly enough it was never properly finished.

This Bootcamp Series reissue collects the original Citadel's On Fire cassette release as well as 11 bonus tracks taken from the only known copy of mix references for their unfinished album.
